The Physical Improvements Committee works to improve the curb appeal of the District through various projects such as bus stop enhancements, community cleanup days, landscape enhancements, maintenance and more. The Physical Improvement Committee meets every third Thursday of the month (except February & December) at 10:30AM in the Coliseum Central Conference Room.
The Physical Improvement Grant
The Physical Improvement Grant provides matching funds of up to $15,000 to property owners, managers, non-profits, or municipal departments who seek to improve the exterior appearance of business properties. Funds may be used for building facade enhancements, landscape planting or any such improvement beyond the requirements of normal maintenance and appurtenance. These enhancements could include but may not be limited to architectural surfacing, facade, pedestrian pavements, decorative paving, artwork, and planting improvements that ultimately add character to both the property and the District.
