Join us at the Hampton Roads Convention Center (1610 Coliseum Drive) on Tuesday, August 13 from 4-7PM for the 21st Annual Neighborhood Night Out Health & Safety Fair! This is a free, family-oriented event that focuses on crime prevention, wellness, safety, neighborhood unity and family fun.
Local Police, Fire and Sheriff department representatives will be on-hand with equipment, displays and ident-a-kid kits. Local businesses and community partners will provide information to help keep you and your family safe and healthy. American Red Cross Blood Drive
We are partnering with the American Red Cross to conduct a blood drive during Neighborhood Night Out from 3-6PM. Each pint of blood we collect can help save up to three lives! Donation appointments are still available. Help us reach our goal to collect 15 units.

Haunted Screams Expo
Kick off spooky season at the Haunted Screams Expo, coming to the Hampton Roads Convention Center (1610 Coliseum Drive) September 28-29. This one-of-a-kind horror convention features celebrities from movies and TV, artists and exhibitors, costume and makeup FX contests, an on-site haunted house and more, all in a family-friendly environment. Crawlin’ Crab
Registration is open for the Crawlin’ Crab Half Marathon Weekend, which takes place October 5-6. Events include the 5K, Half Marathon and the Kids 1K. Monster Jam
The monster trucks will be roaring into the Hampton Coliseum October 11-13. See trucks like Grave Digger, Max-D, and Megalodon compete in skills, freestyle and head-to-head challenges. Aquaplex Pools Closed for Cleaning
Indoor pools at the Hampton Virginia Aquaplex will be closed from August 11-25 for required maintenance. During this time, swim lessons will be held after hours in the SplashDown Park. Lessons will be available for preschool and school-aged kids only. The SplashDown park will be open for normal activities from 11AM-6PM daily. Kids Eat Free
Bring the whole family to Chicken Salad Chick (2850 Kilgore Ave.) where kids eat free every Tuesday in August. From 5-7PM, kids will receive a FREE Little Chick Meal with the purchase of a Chick Meal. A local library will be on-hand to provide story time at 6PM. Click here for more information.
