Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland
Coliseum Central is pleased to present Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland sponsored by Sentara. This world-class circus experience is coming to the Hampton Coliseum (1000 Coliseum Drive) on December 11 at 7PM. The talented cast of Cirque Musica will dazzle you with acrobats, aerialists, hilarious hijinks and holiday cheer. Cirque Musica Holiday Wonderland is an unforgettable experience for the entire family.
Tickets start at $45 and are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and the Hampton Coliseum Box office. Now through December 9, get four tickets for the price of three by selecting “Family Four Pack” when you order online, while supplies last.
Upgrade your experience by treating you and your family to VIP tickets. Holiday Events
Visit with Santa, take a Holiday Wonder Walk, or explore Santa’s Wonderland. Here are the holiday events happening in Coliseum Central this month:
- Visit with Santa- Santa will be at Peninsula Town Center (1671 Merchant Lane) on December 4th from 1-4PM. Be sure to bring your own camera to get pictures!
- Holiday Wonder Walk- Hampton’s Waterwalk trail will be lit for the holidays daily from 5-8PM December 19-25. The Holiday Wonder Walk begins behind the Hampton Coliseum and continues to Freeman Drive. This event is free and open to the public. Parking is free at the Hampton Coliseum (1000 Coliseum Drive). - Santa’s Wonderland- Visit Santa’s Wonderland now through December 24 at Bass Pro Shops (1972 Power Plant Pkwy). Families can get a free 4 X 6 photo with Santa, mail a letter to Santa and receive free giveaways while supplies last. For more information, or to make your free Santa photo reservation, click here.
Monster Jam
Monster Jam returns to the Hampton Coliseum (1000 Coliseum Drive) January 20-22, 2023 with world-class athletes in intense competitions of speed and skill. Tickets are on sale now. Hampton Named Top 10 Digital City
Hampton has been named a Top 10 Digital City by the Center for Digital Government. This is the 20th time the city has receive recognition, this year placing eighth on the list of cities its size.
The city was recognized for its innovative use of technology and citizen engagement. Some of the city’s initiatives that were highlighted include increase in cybersecurity efforts, network upgrades and increased citizen communication and interaction.

Raising Cane’s Ribbon Cutting
City dignitaries, including Vice Mayor Jimmy Gray, Councilman Chris Bowman, Councilman Steve Brown, and Economic Development Director Chuck Rigney were in attendance as Raising Cane’s (1044 W. Mercury Blvd) held its grand opening celebration on November 17. Hampton University drumline, cheerleaders and Pirate mascot also participated in the festivities.
Raising Cane’s is know for its chicken fingers combos. In fact, that’s the only thing on their menu. They call it their “One Love.” Find out more about Raising Cane’s here.
