Be a part of the fun at the 29th Tastefully Yours premier food tasting event, featuring craft beer and wine, on May 1st at the Hampton Roads Convention Center thanks to Kroger as the Presenting Sponsor alongside our Grand Sponsors Smithfield Foods, BayPort Credit Union and Ferguson and many other dedicated sponsors and food establishments who make this evening possible.
Each ticket purchased will help provide the equivalent of 195 meals for our neighbors experiencing food insecurity.
Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, established in 1986, is the largest hunger relief organization across the greater Peninsula. So let’s celebrate the mission of the Foodbank with a Mardi Gras theme. You will sample many delicious foods from our local food establishments, and enjoy the evening’s itinerary as everyone comes together to support programs that nourish those individuals lacking nutritious meals right here at home.

Mardi Gras Mask/Dress Contest:
Get in the spirit! Wear your beads, masks, feathers, vibrant colors, and all things Mardi Gras for a chance to win our costume contest! Be creative and enter your special made Mardi Gras mask into the Live Auction to help raise funds to help end hunger.
The funds raised will provide hunger relief and hope to individuals, families, children, seniors, and veterans facing food insecurity across the greater Peninsula. Hunger is a collaborative effort, and we proudly partner with over 140 agencies—including soup kitchens, churches, and emergency shelters—and provide assistance through the Foodbank’s Culinary Training Program, Food for Kids BackPack Program, Kids Cafe Program, School Produce Market, Food Hub and our Mobile Food Pantry Program.
