Small Business Spotlight

Each month, the “Small Business Spotlight” will feature one of the many small businesses that call Coliseum Central home. If you are interested in featuring your company, please contact Angie at aewton@coliseumcentral.com.

Martha Bennett opened Momo’s Café (1930 Power Plant Parkway) in Newport News in 2012 to expand her personal chef and catering business. In May 2022, she relocated to a larger space in the Power Plant shopping center.

Momo’s Café specializes in homemade food made with local ingredients. The restaurant serves breakfast and lunch Tuesday-Saturday in the café and offers individual lunch and dinner options via a rotating personal chef menu with advanced ordering. Momo’s also provides catering for any occasion, from small business lunch to large wedding. Ask Martha what makes her business special and she says, “Our food! Everything we do is a labor of love.” Click here for more information.
